Fertilization & Weed Control Reminders

Fertilizer Reminders:
  • It is ok to water the grass after your lawn has been fertilized, however; it is not necessary. Rain will help dissolve the granules. The fertilizer is slow release so it will not damage the lawn.
  • After sodding we strongly suggest using a starter fertilizer.

Weed Control Reminders:
  • Additional weed control applications may be needed throughout the year to maintain a completely weed free lawn. For example, it may take 2-3 applications to wipe out 95% of Creeping Charlie. Fall is the best time to zap this weed.
  • After weed spray treatments, stay off of the lawn and do not water for 24 hours!
